 About Jeff

My Story in a nutshell.   At age 12 I asked Jesus to take control of my life,  which was highly recommended by my father.  At age 21, God sent me a godly teacher by the name of Chris Cote of PEI, who opened my eyes to the clarity, conciseness and common sense of the Bible.   WOW, That was awesome!   I had to go Bible College to learn more.   SO, . . . I Got a Bachelors of Science in Bible from Lancaster Bible College in 2000, and a Master’s of Science in Christian Counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University in 2004.

1997-2005 I served as a Youth Director & Ministry Director at Bible Fellowship Church of Ephrata, PA. Then God sent me to Paw Paw West Virginia and in 2007. I began serving as the “Speakn Deacon” of Paw Paw Bible Church.   Serving God is an ADVENTURE!

So what's the deal with “Speakn Deacon?”

I was a deacon with the role of preaching on Sunday mornings.   After eight months of this, the deacon board began to question the need for a Pastor.   I asked what have we accomplished since we have been without an official pastor? The board quickly listed numerous successes.

So I asked, “What difference would a pastor make?”

Someone stated, “Right now, we are doing all the work.”

Well, his statement IS Ephesians 4:12!  “Equip the SAINTS for the WORK of the MINISTRY!"  Which is the purpose of a Pastor.

 The Purpose

To Make Disciples Who
Love God & People

The Great Command & The Great Commission IS the highest purpose of mankind.

Make Disciples:
Mat 28:19 NIV - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Mat 28:20 NIV - and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Love God:
Mat 22:37 NIV - Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'

Mat 22:38 NIV - This is the first and greatest commandment.

Mat 22:39 NIV - And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

Yup, The Greatest of all commands is to LOVE GOD.  Yet, most people don't & won't.

The Product

Mature Disciples

Every Christian Should Habitually Do The Following.

This IS what it looks like to Love God With All Your Being.

1. Be a Disciple:

Read & Study the BIBLE Daily.

2. Fellowship With Christians:

That is how we learn to love our neighbor.  Get involved with a local church.

3. Have a Ministry:

What Job are you doing specifically to build God's Kingdom on Earth?  Church or Para-Church ministry.

4. Evangelize Daily:

We are to be actually TELLING people they don't have to go to hell & being GOOD will NOT get them Heaven.  Submit to Jesus and let His Good Works be credited to you.

5. Worship:  To the Glory of God!

Sing Love Songs to Jesus.                     Go on dates with Jesus.  When was the last time you scheduled an ENTIRE afternoon to be alone with Him?

What about Prayer?

If the Five Disciplines don't drive you to your knees, nothing will.  :  )

Eph 4:13 ESV - until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
